11. What is the significance of the Table of Contents feature in LibreOffice Writer? Discuss briefly.
Ans: The Table of Contents (TOC) feature in LibreOffice Writer is important because it helps organize a document in a proper and structured way. It automatically creates a list of headings and subheadings along with their page numbers. This makes it easier for readers to quickly find any topic in a long document.
Another important benefit is that the Table of Contents updates automatically when changes are made in the document, such as adding new headings or changing page numbers. This saves time and reduces manual work.

Ans: The Subtotal tool in LibreOffice Calc is used to automatically calculate totals for grouped data in a worksheet. It helps to find sum, average, count, maximum, or minimum values for selected groups of data without doing manual calculations.
For example, if you have a list of salespersons and their monthly sales, the Subtotal tool can quickly calculate the total sales done by each salesperson for every month.
13. Give any two prerequisites before consolidating data in Calc.

Information is processed and organized data that has meaning and is useful for decision-making.

21. An electronic gadget shop keeps records of its electronic products, such as mobile phones, laptops, etc., in a table named Gadgets, which has columns for ItemID (Primary key), ItemType (mobile, iPad, Laptop), Size, Quantity, Price and Supplier.
It also stores the billing data in another table named Bill, which has columns as BillNo (Primary key), ItemID, Price, CustName and CustPhoneNo.
Based on the above, answer the following questions:
(a) Name any two columns of the Gadgets table where duplicate values are allowed.
Ans: ItemType and Supplier
(Quantity and Price can also have duplicate values.)
(b) Assume that the table Gadgets already contains a product having value of ItemID as 1001. Can we enter a new record with value of ItemID as 1001? Justify.
Ans: No, we cannot enter another record with ItemID as 1001 because ItemID is the Primary Key, and a primary key must have unique values.
(c) Is it possible to store photos of the products in a new column of the table, Gadgets? If yes, then suggest a suitable data type to store images.
Ans: Yes, it is possible. We can use the BLOB (Binary Large Object) data type to store images.
In real-world applications, instead of storing images directly in the database, we usually store the image file path (VARCHAR) and keep the image in a folder on the server.
(d) Briefly explain the principle of referential integrity with respect to the tables, Gadgets and Bill.
Ans: Referential integrity ensures that the ItemID in the Bill table must match an existing ItemID in the Gadgets table. This prevents entering a bill for a product that does not exist in the Gadgets table.
